About the Board

Lacey Loftin

President

Hi Wildcats!  My name is Lacey Loftin, and I am so excited to serve as our PTA's President this school year, after serving as the First Vice President, Treasurer and Communications Chair in the past.

My husband John and I moved to Leander almost nine years ago along with our son Joseph, who is a very enthusiastic Wildcat in Second Grade this year.

I am a proud graduate of Westwood High School, and Texas A&M University.  I just started my 22nd year as a Statistician with the U.S. Census Bureau.

I am thrilled to be part of the awesome Whitestone community, and look forward to working with you to make this year one to remember!

Whitney Lumpkin

First Vice President

Hi, I am Whitney Lumpkin, this is my 2nd year serving on the Whitestone PTA board! Last year I was the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and had the privilege of working with the wonderful room reps at Whitestone! This year I will be serving as 1st Vice President. I have served as a room representative for several years before that and loved it! I graduated from Texas A&M with a masters degree in education and I spent several years teaching high school Social Studies before leaving to focus on raising my three kiddos - Rory, who is 11 and a 6th grader at Leander Middle School, Sadie, who is 8 and a 3rd grader at Whitestone, and Knox who is 5 and will finally be at Whitestone as a Kindergartener! I married a native to the Austin area, Kyle, almost 15 years ago and we moved back here as soon as we could! Our family of five enjoys serving in our church community, camping trips, water activities, and movie nights together. We have loved being a part of the Whitestone community and I'm excited to serve alongside other wonderful PTA leaders!

Jimmy Sarfani

Vice President of Fundraising

Hello! My name is Akbar, and I am honored to serve as the 2nd VP (Fundraising) of the Whitestone Elementary's PTA. As a passionate advocate for education and community involvement, I am dedicated to creating a positive and enriching environment for our students, parents, and teachers.

With a background in IT, HR, and Retail, and helping parents and students in various education aspects for over 20 years, I bring a unique perspective and set of skills to the PTA. My goal is to support our school through collaborative efforts, innovative programs, and meaningful volunteer opportunities.

When I’m not working with the PTA or working in general, you can find me spending time with my family, and enjoying our wonderful community. I believe that together, we can make a lasting impact and create a vibrant school experience for all.

I look forward to working with each of you and welcome your ideas, suggestions, and participation. Let's make this school year the best one yet!

Angie Rabadan

Secretary

Hi, my name is Angelica Rabadan (Angie), I am excited to be back in the board as Secretary. I was born and raised in Mexico City and came to the US 13 years ago. My husband, Alberto and I have two beautiful daughters, Emma who is at Danielson in 7th grade and Isabella, going on to 3rd grade. They are both in the Dual Languaje program and are my joy and pride.

I have been a volunteer in LISD since 2014. You can find me at the school most of the time, either as a volunteer, a substitute or a mom. I love working for the kids and helping them succeed. I would love to help this year to create a community at the school without leaving anyone behind. I know everyone is important and we can all help form our corner.

I graduated from psychology and worked at HR for some time. Now I work as a travel agent which gives me the great benefit of mixing my job and my passion for travel and new experiences with my family.

Megan

Executive Volunteer Coordinator

Hey there! I'm Megan, and this is my first year on the Whitestone PTA Board. My husband Brandon and I have two kids: Anderson, who's starting Kindergarten, and Preston, who's in third grade. They're both in the Dual Language program.

I'm originally from Austin, where I grew up and later earned my Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. I've been in education for 18 years now, currently working as the Director of Fine Arts, Visual and Performing Arts at Leander ISD.

Outside of work, we love cheering on our kids in their sports and activities, exploring new places when we travel, and hanging out with our friends and family, making lots of memories.

We're really happy to be part of the Whitestone community and can't wait for another amazing year ahead! Go Wildcats!

Before coming to Whitestone I was on the PTA board at our prior elementary school which was much smaller, so I definitely learned a lot last year. I'm a stay at home and sometimes substitute at a Montessori School and also thru LISD. Our oldest son is in middle school and will be going into 7th grade. Our twins are going into 4th grade.
